WORKSHOP 2 -Draw it! Final Presentation and Poster

The following pictures are the presentation of my final work with a poster and two A2 sized rendered drawings.

During the rending process I realized that my drawing skills and techniques need to be improved. I explored several techniques of rendering and found the shading of pencil shavings to be the most effective, as well as using the colour pencil. And the reason why I chose these two point of views were that it shows fundamental characteristics of the Fisher House and the relationship (connection) between this house and its environmental surroundings.

This workshop taught me insight into the understanding of a building through its plans, sections and elevations. I was quite enjoying drawing the perspectives of the fisher house. Although I drew badly on my first attempt, however, I can see the improvement of my drawing techniques through the process of drawing later on.  In my opinion, architectural drawing is one of the best methods of expressing and communicating concepts in architectural communications.
